EXChAngE Blue Pass – Discover Cross-Border Aquatic Heritage

EXChAngE Blue Pass – Discover Cross-Border Aquatic Heritage

This video presents the main output of the EXChAngE project—Explore Cross-border Aquatic Biodiversity: the Blue Pass, a joint tourism product connecting four thematic routes across three countries.

The routes bring together Dubrovnik and its Aquarium in Croatia, Kotor and Aquarium Boka in Montenegro, and the Hutovo Blato Aqua Path and Mostar Aqua Path in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Available at project partners’ sales points, the Blue Pass encourages visitors to explore the region’s connected natural and cultural heritage.

Led by the University of Dubrovnik’s Institute for Marine and Coastal Research, the five-partner project strengthened and diversified the cross-border tourism offer while supporting better management and sustainable use of shared heritage. EXChAngE received EU co-financing through the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina–Montenegro 2014–2020.

As Project Manager for the Institute of Marine Biology, University of Montenegro, from February 2021 to August 2022, I supported project implementation, procurement documentation and reporting.
