SECAP – Energy and Climate Planning Workshop, Fruška Gora

This gallery captures moments from the SECAP workshop held on Fruška Gora, Serbia, in December 2023. The workshop formed part of the support for developing Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans within GIZ’s regional programme for energy, transport and climate protection.

The gathering provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss approaches to translating energy and climate objectives into practical municipal measures. SECAP preparation connects greenhouse gas emission reduction, climate adaptation and equitable access to sustainable energy with local development priorities.

As Country Expert Team Leader for Serbia, commissioned by ibf expertise under its contract with GIZ, I coordinated expert support for SECAP development in Novi Sad, Pirot, Valjevo and Vranje.
