SATECON promotes smart, innovative and sustainable agriculture across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Through digitalisation, pilot actions and cross-border knowledge transfer, the project connects research institutions, public authorities and SMEs to strengthen innovation ecosystems and sustainable value chains in agriculture and mariculture.
As Senior Advisor for Blue–Green Innovation and Collaboration Platforms, I support the alignment of project activities with relevant policies, institutional priorities and Programme requirements. My work combines strategic advice, platform development, quality assurance and capacity building.
Strategic advice and policy alignment
I review project work plans, deliverables and governance arrangements, examining their links to EU, regional and national policy frameworks, including the Green Deal, Smart Specialisation and blue economy policies. Strategic advisory notes provide recommendations on implementation progress, policy alignment, optimisation and risk mitigation. The assignment also includes support to institutional strategies and a final position paper on blue–green innovation and collaboration platforms.
Collaboration platforms and innovation ecosystems
I review concepts, prototypes and outputs related to digital collaboration platforms, innovation clusters and advisory tools. My advice addresses governance, long-term sustainability, user roles, interoperability and cross-border relevance, helping connect technical development with institutional responsibilities and user needs.
Reporting and quality assurance
I prepare narrative partner progress reports and review deliverables for clarity, consistency, accuracy and supporting evidence. This work helps maintain alignment between activities, indicators, reported achievements and Programme requirements throughout implementation and closure.
Coordination and capacity building
Working with the Project Manager and institutional teams, I support stakeholder consultations, project meetings and expert discussions. I also mentor staff involved in innovation management, digital platform development and reporting, helping strengthen the capacity needed to sustain project results.
