MonteAqua – Habitats and Protected Areas

The programme connected European experience with Montenegro’s priorities for biodiversity conservation. The morning sessions explored the EU Habitats Directive and its implementation in Montenegro, while the afternoon focused on the conservation of Montenegrin coastal and marine areas, complemented by European perspectives on marine protection.

As MonteAqua Project Manager, I presented the project’s goals and activities, providing context for the exchange of scientific knowledge and conservation experience. The gallery captures presentations and discussions on protecting habitats and strengthening cooperation for coastal and marine conservation.
